Rose Sinclair is an avid multi-instrumentalist, equally at home on non-pedal steel guitar, clawhammer banjo, zydeco accordion and a host Rose has taught at folk music camps on both coasts and appears on many recordings. She's had the pleasure of touring as a multi-instrumentalist with many bands, including Robin & Linda Williams, James Leva and Memory Theater, Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem, Martha Scanlan, and the Crooked Jades. At home in western Massachusetts, Rose plays non-pedal steel guitar around the Northeast with the classic honky tonk combo, Girl Howdy, and performs tap dance and body percussion with Stefanie Weber in Sole Force. Rose was a founding member (along with Tara Nevins, Beverly Smith and June Drucker) of Green Linnet recording artists, the Heartbeats Rhythm Quartet, an influentiall alt-trad stringband that toured extensively in the U.S., Canada and Germany during the late '80s and early '90s. The band was featured on A Prairie Home Companion, Mountain Stage, E-Town and Voice of America. In July 2007, Rose reunited with Tara Nevins and Beverly Smith in Nashville to record a song Tara wrote for the independent film, "Like Moles, Like Rats," directed by Jim Torres.
